Lynn McDonald has over 25 years of experience in business financing, has been involved for two decades with the Association of Quebec Women in Finance, and has been a member of some 20 boards of directors around the world. As Regional manager for Montréal, she gets to work for an organization with a mission that brings together her two areas of expertise by offering mentoring and financing to entrepreneurs from groups traditionally underrepresented in business.

Her extensive knowledge in finance began with a solid university education. She first completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance at the Université de Sherbrooke, before obtaining an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. With the title of Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, she also received IAS.A designation after completing the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors.

After being senior director for telecommunications, then vice-president for the European telecommunications and media division for Capital Communications CDPQ working for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Lynn McDonald became vice-president of finance and administration for the Parc Olympique.
