Regional manager | Centre-du-Québec

“From the moment I know where an entrepreneur wants to go, I give them the tools and resources to help them achieve their goals.”

After a bachelor’s degree in administration from Université Laval, Marie-Hélène Bédard completed a master’s degree in organizational development at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She also holds a certificate in managing business transfers from the Institut de leadership. Passionate about entrepreneurship, she first worked for her family’s restaurant business before founding Multi Boulot, a non-profit organization that promotes the social reintegration of people looking for work experience. She also volunteers by sitting on several boards of directors. After holding a management position at the Conseil québécois des services de garde éducatifs à la petite enfance, Marie-Hélène joined Evol, where she has been regional manager for Centre-du-Québec for around 12 years.

Driven by a desire to contribute to the economic development of the regions while respecting nature, Marie-Hélène has the sense of being an intrapreneur at Evol. Because of this, she is never afraid to ask the people she coaches hard questions to help them move in the right direction. She believes there are no right or wrong answers, just the need for entrepreneurs to ask themselves questions, reflect, and answer transparently.

Listening to entrepreneurs, helping them dream, being part of their story, and having a front row seat for their successes are all powerful motivators for Marie-Hélène. She is grateful to be by the side of those whose eyes shine with pride after bringing their business plans to fruition.
