On February 8, the Jeune Chambre de commerce algérienne du Canada (JCCAC), the Jeune Chambre marocaine du Québec (JCMQ), and the Jeune Chambre tunisienne du Québec (JCTQ) held a networking event at the BDC head office in Montreal. One of the goals was to make immigrant entrepreneurs aware of financing, coaching, and mentorship opportunities.
As a partner for the event, Evol was proudly represented by the Regional Co-director for Montreal, Sylvie Gasana. She spoke to express our commitment to contribute to the creation, growth, and acquisition of businesses managed and owned by entrepreneurs who represent the multiplicity of faces of our society.
We aspire to economic development that is more respectful to people and the environment and believe that only true entrepreneurial parity can generate a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable economy. Furthermore, professional networking can combat isolation and foster business creation. And entrepreneurs from diverse communities know this more than anyone. This is why we care about making a difference and contributing to initiatives for entrepreneurs from every background.
In a warm, friendly atmosphere, participants discussed with players from the Quebec entrepreneurial ecosystem and discovered resources that reflect their reality, particularly in business financing.
The Jeune Chambre de commerce algérienne du Canada (JCCAC), the Jeune Chambre marocaine du Québec (JCMQ), and the Jeune Chambre tunisienne du Québec (JCTQ) should be applauded for organizing this wonderful event that saw a full house. We look forward to future networking events.
