Montréal, June 30, 2022. In the wake of its annual general meeting, Evol is proud to announce the composition of its board of directors for 2022-2023 and to welcome five new directors:
- François Faucher (President, Gestion Cinq-F Inc.)
- Bhaskhor Guha (Founder, Solutions TLM)
- Lucie Bourgeois (President and Founder, Umalia)
- Fatoumata Barry (Senior Advisor, Evlo)
- Nadia Martel (corporate director and business executive)
“In the past year, Femmessor became Evol, pursuing its ambition to transform the economy to make it more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable,” said Cadleen Désir, president of Evol’s board of directors. “It’s a privilege to chair a board of directors made up of people with such impressive track records, but above all who are committed and dedicated to our organization. Our ability to attract such high-calibre people is testimony to the excellent work done by the Evol team.”
“Evol was launched in September with the ambition of supporting even more prosperous companies that help make a better world,” said Sévrine Labelle, President and CEO of Evol. “Obviously, this ambition can’t be realized without the engagement of all stakeholders and particularly members of our board of directors. Tapping into their collective intelligence and complementary strengths, I am proud to present a diverse board of directors.”
Evol would also like to underline the departure of four directors who have been pillars of the organization, involved in Evol’s (formerly Femmessor) national board of directors from its beginnings. We would like to thank Guylaine Caux, Marie-Noël Grenier, Louise Sanscartier, and Geneviève Verrier for their work.
The general meeting ended with a visit from the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Pierre Fitzgibbon, who spoke to board members about his vision of economic development and Evol’s important contribution to the ecosystem.
